Sarkodie to Release 8th Studio Album ‘Jamz’ After No Pressure

Ghanaian multiple awards winning heavyweight rapper, Sarkodie anounces his 8th studio album tagged “Jamz” which is scheduled to be released on 11th November 2022. On July 10, 1988, Sarkodie, the fourth of five children, was born into the world. His childhood was spent in Koforidua, but once his parents relocated to Tema, he began his formal education there.

The musician took to his social media handles to announce his intentions to release his 8th studio album.

The album called Jamz is expected to hit streaming platforms on November 11, 2022. Sarkodie put together a video giving fans a look at what’s to come.

He received his high school education at Tema Methodist Day Senior High School and then continued his education at IPMC to acquire a degree in graphic design. Sarkodie started out as an underground rapper and took part in the popular rap competition hosted by Adom FM called Kasahare Level when he first began his career in music.

While taking part in the aforementioned competition, he was able to make the acquaintance of his previous manager, Duncan Williams of Duncwills Entertainment. He also became acquainted with the musicians Edem and Castro, who in turn introduced him to the well-known record producer Hammer of the Last Two. Hammer gave Sarkodie permission to record two tracks for Edem’s debut album Volta Regime because he was impressed by the flow of his raps.
