By 2025, the GSM Association estimates that 5G networks would have over 1.7 billion users worldwide.
Like their predecessors, 5G networks are cellular networks with service areas separated into small geographic areas known as cells.
A local antenna in the cell connects all 5G wireless devices in the cell to the Internet and telephone network via radio waves.

5G refers to the fifth generation of cellular network technology.
5G can accommodate up to one million devices per square kilometer, whereas 4G can only support 100,000 devices per square kilometer.
Despite the fact that conversations about it have begun in a number of countries, it has prompted numerous debates.

Organizations such as Ghana’s Institute for ICT Professionals have published statements assuaging Ghanaians’ anxieties about 5G.

However, Ken Ashigbe, the CEO of Ghana’s telecoms chamber, has stated that the rollout of 5G will take time.
“It will take some time in Ghana to acquire 5G,” he says. We’ll need to bring 4G up to about 80% before we can shift to 5G. Currently, only about 6% of Ghana’s population has access to 4G. It may take a little longer because 5G necessitates so much.”
